News / New ‘Inspiro Vision’ green screen technologies and studio are used to create immersive video for The Outward Bound Trust

Inspiro has recently introduced their new green screen technology, known as Inspiro Vision, to help organisations enhance their learning and development programmes with more immersive learning experiences.

The latest application of this technology has recently been used to create an introduction video for The Outward Bound Trust, an added value programme offered by Volkswagen Group to support skills and behaviours development of their apprentices. The aim of the video is to help learners overcome their anxieties and fears about what the experience programme includes prior to them attending the programme.

Green screen technology, also known as chroma keying, is a technique used to replace the background of a video with an image or footage of the filmmaker’s choice. This technology has been widely used in the film industry for years, but it has recently become more accessible to learning organisations looking to increase the engagement in remote learning sessions and group activities.

With the Inspiro Vision technologies, Inspiro can add visual effects, animations, and other elements to the video, making it more engaging and effective in delivering the intended message. Videos typically feature a presenter who guides the learners through the different stages of the programme, and the green screen technology allows the presenter to be placed in various locations, creating a more realistic and immersive experience. Wider footage and pre-production film can also be integrated into the videos making the viewing experience more engaging and interesting along the way.

“We are excited to have used this technology in our latest project for Volkswagen Group and The Outward Bound Trust,” said Phil Whitehouse, Head of Learning at Inspiro. “Inspiro Vision is an exciting and powerful tool that can help organisations enhance their learning and development programmes by creating engaging and interactive content.”

The Outward Bound Trust programme is designed to help Volkswagen Group apprentices develop their wider skills and behaviours by taking part in activities that challenge them both physically and mentally. The video produced by Inspiro Vision is an important component of the programme, providing learners with a clear understanding of what to expect and how to prepare for the experience.

The use of Inspiro Vision has been a game-changer for Inspiro and their clients, providing a cost-effective way to create high-quality videos that can help organisations achieve their learning and development objectives.
